DM&E Upgrade Town Hall Meeting

The public is invited to attend a DM&E Upgrade Town Hall meeting on Monday, December 18 at 7 p.m. at the Byron Middle School Auditorium (formerly the Byron High School) in Byron.


Presentations will be given by the Minnesota Association of Cooperatives, Dairyland Power, McNeilus Steel, Farm Bureau, Minnesota Farmers Union, Ethanol Industry, and the Olmsted County Association of Townships. Also invited is Del Lutz, Mayor of Balaton, Minn.


Senator Norm Coleman, Senator Mark Dayton, Senator-Elect Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Gil Gutknecht, Congressman-Elect Tim Walz, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Lieutenant Governor Carol Molnau, state representatives, state senators, and county and local officials have been invited to participate.


The meeting is hosted by the Olmsted County Farm Bureau, Minnesota Association of Cooperatives, Minnesota Farmers Union, and the Southeast Minnesota Ag Alliance.
