FINAL CONVENTION UPDATES:

Thank you for your interest and dedication to the DFL in this most important election year. We are inspired by the number of people newly engaged and look forward to working together to elect our candidates.

Our convention is the largest in the state on Saturday. Come early to register, complete your resolution ballot, obtain your lunch ticket, and visit with the candidates.

March is Minnesota Food-Share Month

Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item(s) for donation to the Channel One Food Bank. The barrel will be near the entry.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday.

2008 OLMSTED COUNTY DFL CONVENTION

Saturday, March 29th

8:30 am Registration Begins (Cafeteria)
10:00 am Convention Convenes (Auditorium)

Century High School
2525 Viola Road NE
Rochester, MN

Lunch will be served between 11 am – 1 pm, while the Convention is in progress. The Sergeant of Arms will announce in the cafeteria when balloting will occur.

Lunch will be offered on site at a cost of $6 per person. (Optional)

Lunch tickets may be purchased at the designated tables near registration. (Food or drink is not allowed in the Auditorium.)

A suggested registration fee of $10 will help cover the Olmsted County DFL Convention expenses.

At the Convention we will:

• Elect Olmsted County DFL Officers including Chair, Associate Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Affirmative Action Officer, Communications Director, 13 Directors, State Central Committee Delegates and Alternates
  
  
• Have opportunity to hear from our incumbents and candidates.
  
  
• Vote on the top 54 resolutions to submit to the State DFL Platform Commission.
  
  
• Adopt our 2008 Olmsted County DFL Constitution
  
  
• Choose our 27 Delegates and 27 Alternates to go to the 1st Congressional District DFL Convention in Albert Lea on April 26 and also attend the State DFL Convention June 6 – 8 in Rochester.
