Roads to the Future: Commuters, Potholes, and Congestion

Saturday, September 30, 2006
8 – 10:30 a.m.
Heintz Center, Room HB117
(Use the H Entrance Door)
Rochester, Minnesota

Free and open to the public

“Minnesota’s Transportation Challenge,” a video narrated by Charlie
Boone and produced by the Itasca Project and several local government
and transportation groups, presents information on our transportation
infrastructure - what we have, what we need, and what it costs.
Olmsted County’s highway engineer, Mike Sheehan, will bring these
issues home with local examples. He will also review the language of
the upcoming ballot issue constitutionally dedicating the current
motor vehicle sales tax to transportation.

Audience

This forum is free and open to the public. A flyer has been posted to
the files section of the OlmstedDFL yahoo group.  This is an
opportunity to be part of the democratic process and share views on
issues facing our state and community.
