Screening for 1st District DFL Positions

Hi Everyone,
If you or anyone you know is interested in screening for positions with the 1st District DFL, the Nominations Committee will begin screening on the morning of April 22nd in Armstrong Hall (all committees meet in Rooms 302-306) on the campus of MSU - Mankato. Their meeting will begin at 9:30am and they’ll probably begin screening around 10am.
The will finish screening on the morning of April 29th before our convention, which begins at 10am, and then make their recommendations to the convention body.
Positions being screened for are:
Officers: Chair, Associate Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Affirmative Action Officer
Directors: Eleven, gender balanced
State Commission Delegates/Alternates: Constitution, Platform, Affirmative Action (2 year term)
State Convention Committee Delegates/Alternates: Credentials, Rules, Nominations (they meet on the weekend of May 20 in Rochester)
We’d like to get a good representation from across the district for these positions. I’d encourage people to come and screen on the 22nd, especially if they’re closer to Mankato, or plan to be there to serve on one of the other 1st District Pre-convention Committees on that day.
