Drug Dealer?

It is said that some jobs can drive you crazy and being the Governor of Minnesota just might be such a job.

With Tim Pawlenty calling the Federal Government a “Drug Dealer,” he seems to have lost his bearings.

They do seem to deal in a lot of things but dealing out drugs? I don’t think so. Congress does support the drug companies with protective and financial legislation and perhaps this is what he was trying to communicate.

As these last few months in office reflect on Tim Pawlenty we hope that he will relax and enjoy the remaining time in his job. There is no need for him to say things that may hurt his reputation in future years and nobody expects such of him.

This would be a good time for him to develop a vision for the furtherance of Lake Vermillion, describing the investments the State needs to make, the order of investment, and the benefits derived from same, while leaving this vision as legacy for the future.

The difficult days are behind Tim Pawlenty now and he is just hurting his good name with such statements.

He is certainly not winning voters over to vote for him as President in 2012 with this sort of thing.

Being a Lame Duck Governor is likely a trying time.
