Those who know Sal Khan know him as a tireless educator who is creating a complete online High School and College curricula on the Internet.

But Sal is more than that, he is also an MIT Engineering graduate and a Harvard Business School graduate who has worked in Wall Street firms.

You might have seen his videos at the Kahn Academy; he has videos that are used to instruct the workers at the U.S. Treasury Department on what TARP is, why it was needed, what Geithner has done about banking failures and why and excellent videos on the need for Wall Street Reform.

When it comes to finance, Sal Khan understands the mechanisms of Wall Street, the U.S. Treasury, and finance, in depth and he can explain the subject to others in a simple straightforward manner.

Sal has put up a video explaining the problem with the Housing Market and the banks so called toxic assets and what can be done to improve the situation immediately. Tim Geithner and the Fed’’s Bernanke would be wise to listen to his ideas.
