GOP Staffing Problem

According to David Brooks, a conservative columnist for the NY Times, the GOP lacks the talent-bank to be able to staff a McCain Administration. Should they win they will have to ask Democrats to serve in many of the cabinet posts. He says that the Bush Administration has used up its talent bank and has worn out what remains of its staff.
If he is right then there is even more reason to vote for Obama / Biden for these two can and will attract top talent to serve our country in a time of dire need.
In my judgment the biggest need for improvement lies in Foreign Policy and Joe Biden brings the skills needed to improve our diplomatic corps. Say what you will Colin Powell and his successor Condoleeza Rice have been the worst State Department Cabinet Members in my lifetime. Colin Powell lied to the world for Bush and Condoleeza Rice has not achieved anything since being appointed.
Some might argue and say “No, the worst Agency is the Justice Department.” After the performances turned by such notables as John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzales, it would be hard to refute them. Especially when the morality of John Wu is thrown in as a clincher to seal the argument -- thanks to them America is now notorious for torture, abuse, and denial of human rights to POW’s. They also justified CIA Rendition of kidnapped people and justified illegal spying on American citizens.
Others might cite the Department of Defense and such figures as Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wofowitz and maybe their agent in Iraq Paul Bremmer.
At any rate if this is the best that the GOP could come up with then they sure couldn’t sustain another term in government for they lack the talent to staff our government.
So why waste a vote on these guys?
Vote for a Democratic Ticket and get quality government. It’s just that easy.
