The Rochester Fest Parade was a huge success and the DFL entry was awesome as usual.

Thank you to all the people that supported and helped our DFL candidates.

The crowd was so energized by our elected people. It is so hard warming to hear them calling out to Tina, Kim, Andy, Ann, Jensen, Franken and Walz.

Our representatives followed the guidelines sent out by the parade committee of 25 walkers per unit, (which gave each of them 3, because we have so many great elected officials) until it was discovered that the Republicans were going through with a HUGE group of walkers. That’s when DFL supporters poured out in droves to walk with our DFLers. It is with great pride that I commend our legislatures and candidates for honoring the rules.

It again goes to show that Democrats follow the rules, while Republicans don't. I hope you all got a chance to see little Gus Walz campaigning for his father. He was a great little trouper and a good little show stopper.

Corky the campaign dog and donkey were also great hits with the kids (some adults too). I don't believe I have ever seen so many kids at the parade as there was this year. It was very heartwarming to hear the crowd yelling out Obama, Obama, Obama, when they saw the float.

It was just a great night for the DFL and I thank each and everyone of you who pitched in to help set up the float and again dismantle it. It really makes the job a whole lot easier and fun.

Thanks to all of you that work at providing a wonderful site and picnic for the DFL people. It was a great addition and appreciated by all.

AREN'T DFLER'S GREAT PEOPLE AND THE BEST?
