community and faith based organizations to help prepare for disasters
caused by nature or humans. Cost is $20, including materials, snacks

How to Succeed as a Volunteer will be held at the Heintz Center, room
HC222, at RCTC in Rochester, MN on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. There is a $20 fee; it is a Woodland Advisor

credit.

will be heading down to the GREAT CITY of Rochester on February 26th,
2007.

This is the final committee to hear all spending and tax bills in the

major finance committees. It is our chance to be heard in the
legislative system without leaving town. Isn't it nice now that
Rochester is on the political radar?

Family to Family Mental Illness training
Starts Feb 28 6:00PM - 8:30PM, 12 week class
United Way building
Preregistration required


A series of 12 weekly classes structured to help family members
understand and support their ill relative while maintaining their own
well-being begins on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, 6-8:30 p.m. at
United Way Building, 903 West Center Street.
The course is taught by a team of trained family members who know what
it is like to have a loved one with a serious mental illness in the
family.
There is no cost to participate in this program, but registration is
required. The class is limited to 20 persons. Please call the NAMI
Olmsted County office at 287-1692 for more details or to register.
