Hello All,

It was a great convention and I can’t wait for the Big Gil Retirement Party.

Thank you for the wonderful Convention Facilities.  It was a beautiful and comfortable site. A wonderful place for our convention.  A huge thanks for everyone that worked to make it possible.

I also want to thank everyone that was able to bring coffee for our troops in Iraq.  It was such short notice, but as always Democrats rose to the occasion.  Even with the short notice you donated 50 # of coffee.  Several mentioned you weren’t aware of it and I’m sorry for that.  The reason was because we just learned of the need and didn’t have much time to get the word out.  But I also know your hearts will go with the shipment.  I will send it out this week and if more comes in at a later date I’ll send that out to them also.

It will be very meaningful to them that the Democrats in Southern Minnesota was thinking of them while seeking to bring better people to work for them in our government.

Thank you Lori, you do an awesome job of keeping all of us organized.
