1st District DFL Dinner

Dear Editor,

The 1st Congressional District DFL is holding it’s Annual Dinner/Auction on November 5 at the Albert Lea Labor Center, 404 East Main.

Along with many statewide candidates on hand to speak, Matt Entenza will serve as our featured speaker to help this Southern Minnesota District kick off the 2006 campaign season to make sure that this part of Minnesota becomes even bluer next year.  As you’ll recall, 5 of the 13 seats that the DFL gained in the state house in 2004 came from Southern Minnesota.

We hope you’ll come to help us show our support for our wonderful legislators and new candidates down here, along with the excellent group of statewide candidates.

Our auctioneer will be Minnesota Farmers Union President, Doug Peterson.

Times:  Social Hour at 5:30, Dinner at 6:30, Program at 7:30

Meal choices are swiss steak or vegetarian lasagna
Cost:  $15/person, $25/couple
