A message from Senator Ann Lynch --

DEAR FRIENDS,

Today, I spent the afternoon in St. Charles walking and talking to voters
for House DFL Candidate LINDA PFEILSTICKER.

As you know, there will be an important special election on August 7
in House District 28B to replace former Speaker of the House Steve Sviggum.
Representative Tina Liebling has done a terrific job of telling us all how
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in this race. I took her up on the
opportunity to walk for Linda today. I hope you will all consider sharing
your time, talent, money and/or energy in this race in the coming days!

There are plenty of streets and communities that I could walk in my own
district‹for sure. But today and in the coming days we need to focus on
efforts on helping the House to gain an additional seat.

One need only look as far as the transportation bill, the vetoed
transportation bill, to see how imperative it is to increase the strength
of the DFL majority in the House. The strength of both majority bodies,
House and Senate, is more critical than ever so that we can work
together to truly move Minnesota forward. Sometimes that means
having enough votes to override on matters that are critical and
represent Minnesota core values. We need Linda Pfeilsticker in
the House!

In the coming days you will be contacted about opportunities to help
Linda Pfeilsticker win in 28B. I hope that you will give serious
consideration to how you can contribute to the success of her campaign.
