A Message from Al Franken

Dear Friend,

Since moving back home to Minnesota with my wife, Franni, in January, I’ve
been waiting for the right opportunity to join a few of my friends on stage.
That moment has finally arrived.

I would like to invite you to the State Theatre in Minneapolis on Thursday,
June 8th for a special show starting at 7:30 pm.  There I will perform in
concert and be joined by Tom Davis, my former partner, for a Franken and
Davis reunion.  The evening will also feature a performance by legendary
guitarist Leo Kottke.

The event will benefit my new political action committee, Midwest Values PAC
(MVP).  MVP’s goal is to provide financial and organizational support to
progressive candidates, activists and causes in Minnesota, throughout the
Midwest, and around the country in 2006 and beyond.

The event will not only be a great way to support progressive candidates and
causes, but also a lot of fun - unless you’re a Republican.
