Dear DFL,

The largest convention in Olmsted County DFL history was an incredible success Saturday. Nearly 700 people attended the convention, heard from our incumbents and candidates, engaged in the process of building our Party’s platform, elected party officials, became delegates, alternates or volunteers at future conventions and felt the excitement and opportunity this election cycle holds being part of the Olmsted County DFL.

A tremendous amount of work was required to ensure the success of the convention.

Finally, thank you to the attendees of the precinct caucuses, trainings, convention and those who had hoped to attend; your dedication is key to the success of our candidates and
Democratic Party.

We have had a great start to this election year with historic precinct caucus and convention attendance, record fundraising, an expanded database system and a larger more effective
DFL Office. However, it is those who participate and volunteer who are invaluable and ensure the success of the party.
