April 30, 1st CD Meeting in Owatonna

Hi Everyone,

Just want to let you know ahead of time that the 1st District DFL will be meeting on April 30 at 10am in the Gainey Room at the Owatonna Library.

The central committee will conduct a small amount of business.  Then we’ll spend about 2 hours on some brainstorming for the state DFL strategic plan.  The second part of the meeting is open to all DFLers, not just delegates to the central committee.  Please inform people at your upcoming meetings that they are very welcome to join us for this meeting.  The State Party wants this process to start at the grassroots level and they need everyone’s input in the development of the strategic plan.

In June the State Executive Committee will meet over all of this feedback for about 1.5 days to come up with a strategic plan, and then the staff at the party headquarters will put the plan into written form and begin implementing it.

Again, please plan on attending this meeting and bring some other DFL friends from your area.  Crysta Parkin will get the official notices out to delegates later in April.
