Brian Melandez: A DAY TO HONOR OUR VETERANS

St. Paul – With Minnesota soldiers actively serving the United States at home and abroad, today we honor all those who have served the country with honor.  Minnesota DFL Chair Brian Melendez issued the following statement: 

“We Americans owe our freedom to the men and women who have bravely served our nation in uniform.  The Bible reminds us that ‘no one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.’ [John 15:13] On this Veterans Day, let us remember and honor our courageous fellow citizens who have laid their lives on the line so that we can all enjoy the blessings of liberty.”
