10/30/2006
As the campaign enters its final week, U.S. Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar and Illinois Senator Barack Obama were greeted by a huge crowd of nearly 3,000 people this evening in Rochester. The event marks the beginning of Amy Klobuchar’s final push to bring her message of change to Minnesotans. The rally, held at the Mayor Civic Center in Rochester, also featured 1st District DFL Congressional Candidate Tim Walz.
“It is an honor to have Senator Obama join us in spreading our message of change throughout Minnesota,” U.S. Senate Candidate Amy Klobuchar said following the rally. “From Rochester to Duluth and across our state, Minnesotans are ready for a change in Washington, and we will spend the next week connecting with thousands of Minnesotans as we cross the state leading up to election day.”
Klobuchar’s Campaign for Change will bring her throughout the state in the next 8 days including stops in Thief River Falls and Moorhead tomorrow afternoon.
