If Bush is seeking Congressional help in prosecuting the War in Iraq he has a strange way of going about it.

By taunting and antagonizing the Democrats he is hurting his chances of anything being done to bolster his cause.

Laura needs to explain to him what many know and use to their advantage. “You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.”

If Bush was making nice with Congress then public opinion would force Congress to cut him some slack. His acid towards Congress just feeds the public fury concerning his behavior and that fury is eating his lunch.

Watch his satisfaction rating fall even lower and watch more GOP defections accumulate as he continues down this path. He is doing to himself what no amount of media angst could do.
