04/19/2006

Celebrate Earth Day on Saturday by discussing the issue of clean water with fellow community members.  The next Coffee and Conversations is this Saturday at Quarry Hill Nature Center.  The topic will be Clean Water.

Clean Water: Legacy or Memory?
Saturday, April 22, 2006—Earth Day!
8 – 10 a.m.

Mr. Craig Johnson, League of MN Cities, and Mr. Terry Lee, Olmsted County Environmental Resources, will lead a discussion of the clean water proposals currently before the legislature. Round table discussions will follow with fellow community members and local legislators. Handouts outlining the proposals will be available at the Forum.

It’s Earth Day! Enjoy a cup of Dunn Bros coffee and talk to your neighbors about issues that affect us all. After the forum, you can take a walk at Quarry Hill!

This forum is free and open to the public. This is an opportunity to be part of the democratic process and share views on issues facing our state and community.
