“Iraq: How Will We Know When It’s Over?”

Community Forum: Thursday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the North Mankato
Police Annex Meeting Room

Arafat El-Bakri and Tim Walz will discuss their perspectives of the
timing and ramifications for a U.S. pullout from Iraq. El-Bakri, of
Coon Rapids, is a board member of the Mankato Islamic Mosque. Walz is
a Sergeant Major in the Minnesota National Guard, a Mankato West
social studies teacher, and a candidate for U.S. Congress.

The forum is open to the public and offers time for comments,
questions and discussion. It is sponsored by the North Mankato Public
Library and Citizens’ Voices.
