DFL’ers Obtain Committee Assignments

DFL’ers from the Rochester area received their committee assignments and will serve as follows:


• Andy Welti will be vice-chairman for Agriculture, Rural, Economies and Veterans Affairs Finance Division. He will also serve as a member of the divisions of K-12 Education; Energy Finance and Policy; Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy; and Finance.


• Tina Liebling will be the alternate chair of the Ethics committee. She will also serve as a member of the Health Care and Human Services Finance; Health and Human Services; Public Safety Finance; and Taxes committees.


• Kim Norton will be vice-chair of the Biosciences and Emerging Technologies Division. She will also serve in the committees for Health and Human Services; Higher Education; Workforce Development Policy; and Finance.
All of these appointments are in line with the needs of the areas which they represent and they offer our Representatives an opportunity to represent their Districts in those areas where policy is being crafted or finances are being addressed that directly effect their Districts.
