DSCC Statement On Wetterling Announcement

DSCC Chair Charles E. Schumer issued the following statement in response to Patty Wetterling’s decision to withdraw from the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota:

“Patty Wetterling is a class act and her decision puts Amy Klobuchar in a strong position to be the next U.S. Senator from Minnesota.  Amy Klobuchar is a dedicated public servant, a terrific candidate and will win the Senate race in November.”
