Federal Candidates Working on Fund Raising

As this 3rd quarter ends we see yet another deadline for federal candidates looming. They need to show they are robust candidates by demonstrating that they have the fund raising power to warrant a distribution of federal campaign funds.

We have received requests for donations from Tim Walz (running against Gil Gutknecht) he seeks to raise $20,000 by the end of this month and he wants our help.

Solicitations have also come in from Amy Klobachaur and Patty Wetterling who are running to replace Mark Dayton.

Fund raising is an important part of campaigning and the amount of funds raised is an indicator of likely voter loyalty come the November 2006 election.

We know that you will help these folks out they represent our best hope to be an ifluential factor in Washington.
