Grade DFA
12/15/2006
Dear DFL Members and Supporters,
How is DFA doing?
2006 has been tremendous. We won the United States Senate and House, a majority of governorships, recaptured state legislative chambers and elected hundreds of local candidates. Democrats are in a position to make more gains in 2007 and reclaim the White House in 2008. Towards these ends, we are drawing up plans for the next two years. However, in order to plan more effectively, we'd like to have a better understanding of our 2006 performance.
Will you help by grading DFA? Please share your thoughts on which actions worked best in your local area. Which actions were a home run and which weren't a good fit for you? Give us a grade on our 2006 actions:

This year we launched DFA Night School to train activists in important campaign tactics in high impact hour long interactive conference calls and web presentations. What did you think?
DFA members posted over one million GOTV sticky notes and planned hundreds of events in DFA's largest get-out-the-vote campaign ever. How would you rate it?
We made sure that Iraq stayed on the agenda from Day One all the way through Election Day with Iraq War forums all summer and Iraq for Sale screenings in October. Tell us what you thought.
DFA partnered with MoveOn to make calls in the Call for Change campaign. Did you think it was a success?

Help grade the launch of the new Blog for America, the local candidate forums, and this month's paper ballots petition. Your feedback drives Democracy for America forward. Thank you for taking the time to help this organization -- your organization -- learn and grow.
All the best,
