Hatch to hold a fundraiser for Swanson

Mike Hatch recently resigned from a top management job in the state attorney general's office, but he's still a top supporter of the political future of his successor and fellow DFLer, Lori Swanson.

Hatch is throwing a fundraiser later this month at his home in Burnsville. Among those on the invite list is Brenda DePalma of North Oaks. She and her husband, Gene, each contributed $1,000 to Swanson in her 2006 campaign.

They are former neighbors of Hatch.
