Help move Sviggum’s House seat to the DFL column

Dear Friends,

As you know, there will be an important special election on August 7 in House District 28B to replace former Speaker of the House Steve Sviggum. Many of you have asked me how you can help support House DFL Candidate Linda Pfeilsticker. Here are some opportunities:

(1) Walk with Linda in the Mazeppa Days Parade, this Friday, July 13th at 7:00 pm. Meet up time is 6:00 pm; there is no unit number. When you arrive in Mazeppa on Hwy 60, there is gas station where the line up will start. Look for the DFL unit. If questions, call Katy Smith with Linda's campaign (507-313-1048). Please let Andy Pomroy know if you will be attending (612-237-0417 or ).

(2) You can phone for Linda every day starting MONDAY, July 16 at 11 am at DFL Headquarters in St. Paul; there will also be evening shifts daily.

(3) Doorknock in the district every day starting next week. Please call Andy Pomroy at 612-237-0417 or email him at to sign up for both phoning and doorknocking.

(4) Donate, up to $250. Linda must raise at least $1,500 in donations of $50 or less by July 16 to be eligible for State matching funds! (She can still accept donations after that.)
