Hillary: Thank You

Dear DFL Friends,

Thank you so much for your support at my year-end reporting deadline. Your commitment sends a message loud and clear to my Republican opponents: we are strong, united, and prepared to fight back against whatever comes our way.

The urgency of these 2006 elections cannot be overstated. The Bush Administration and their allies in Congress have demonstrated time and again that they are out-of-touch and out-of-step with the needs of ordinary Americans.

Together we’ll make sure their failed policies are out of time too.

You can count on me to continue to fight for the values we care about: a government that works for the American people, and serves our interests, not the special interests. An end to cronyism, incompetence, and cover-ups. Leadership that values families in actions and budgets, not just in rhetoric.

You and I know how important these mid-term elections are going to be. They are our best chance to get America going in the right direction once again.

As I prepare to go back to fighting for our priorities in the Senate, I am grateful to know I can count on your friendship and support. Your commitment will be the key to our success this year. Thank you for standing with me.
