House Candidate Kim Norton to Tour the District, Listen to the Concerns of Local Residents

Kim Norton, school board member and DFL candidate for House District 29B, will tour the district on August 1st and listen to area concerns.
“I’m looking forward to spending time talking with constituents about specific issues that are important to them like education, health care, and the environment before I begin an afternoon of door knocking,” says Kim Norton.
Kim Norton will be kicking off her listening tour of the district at 2:30pm, Tuesday, August 1st at the Longfellow School, 1615 Marion Road SE in Rochester. From there, Kim will travel to spots across district 29B to meet with residents.

2:30 – 3:00 Longfellow School to discuss school schedule
3:15 – 3:45 Quarry Hill Nature Center to discuss community partnerships and energy/environmental issues
4:00 – 4:15 Northrop School Playground (also known as Goose Egg Park) to discuss Early Childhood Development and Community Education
4:15 – 5:30 Door knocking Goose Egg Park neighborhood
6:00 – 6:15 National Night Out – mingling only
6:30 – 7:00 ESC Building for School Board open discussion or time in Kim’s office as District Manager for Junior Achievement followed by School Board meeting
