Hurricane Katrina Victim Relief

08/30/2005

Dear DFL,

With the growing tragedy and devastation apparent following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, I contacted the local Red Cross.

They are accepting cash only donations for the relief efforts of our southern neighbors. They assure 100% of the donation will go to these southern areas and used in the region to buy necessary relief items and help boost the economy.

Their website: http://www.redcross-semn.org/index.php

provides information to donate online, by phone or by mail.
Do indicate Hurricane Katrina on the contribution.

Donating the equivalent of an extra cup of coffee, a movie, take out meal of convenience, etc. would do much to help those experiencing a tremendously difficult and dangerous time in their life.

Thank you for considering.
Lynn
