As we consider the exit plan as proposed by the Progressive Democrats of America ( http://www.pdamerica.org ), we’ll address the typical concerns that arise whenever we think about bringing our troops home: What about a civil war breaking out? Who will protect the civilians? Isn’t it irresponsible to just cut and run? Won’t giving up just encourage the terrorists? Shouldn’t we finish the job? In addition, we’ll touch on what it means to shift from a war economy to a peace economy and what can be done to start moving in that direction.
