Keep it up!

Dear Paul,
Congress could pass a commonsense energy bill -- any day.
Help us drown out the opposition by raising your voice today.
Tell your Rep. to support Renewable Electricity and Fuel Efficiency Amendments today!
As the House nears a vote on the energy bill, thousands of activists like you have already taken action to urge their Representatives to support forward-thinking provisions like better gas mileage and increased renewable electricity.
Now, we need to ramp up the pressure one more notch -- will you send a quick email to your Representative today?
Tell Representative Walz to include vital amendments today!
As I write, auto companies and utilities are beating down doors on Capitol Hill, trying to prevent the addition of these amendments. They care more about their own profits than about saving consumers money and combating global warming. But we're fighting back with our allies in the conservation community, pushing to add vital clean energy provisions to the House energy bill.
These amendments would help our country reduce global warming pollution and transition to a new clean energy economy by increasing the country's use of clean, renewable energy sources like wind and solar and improving the fuel efficiency of cars and trucks.
We've already succeeded in getting the Senate to vote to increase fuel efficiency to 35 miles per gallon by 2020. Now the House has a chance to pass this common sense legislation -- and go even further, by increasing our use of renewable electricity to 20% by 2020.
Your Representative needs to hear your voice above the din of industry -- tell them to support fuel efficiency and renewable electricity amendments!
Don't wait - this energy legislation could reach the floor any day!
Thank you,
