Krugman Interview - Where Does the Right-Wing End and the Media Begin?

I am reading Krugman's book "The Conscious of a Liberal" and am currently in the chapter mentioned in the article below: "Weapons of Mass Distraction".

The book is a great read and I highly recommend every Democrat read it.

Krugman makes an effective argument that the leaders of the GOP want not only to undue the progress of the New Deal, they want to, in the words of Grover Norquist - take the nation back to the pre-Teddy Roosevelt progressive era.

They mean to eliminate the FDA, USDA food inspections, the EPA, anti-trust laws, what remains of organized labor, and bring on a new Gilded Age.

We can not underestimate their intentions.
