Linda Pfeilsticker wins MN House District 28B Primary Race

The District 28B Democratic Primary was held on July 24th and the winner was Linda Pfeilsticker running against Wes Moreland.

Ms. Pfeilsticker won the Democratic primary with 1050 votes (87.72%) vs 147 votes for Mr. Westmorland.

A special election is scheduled for August 7th and the GOP candidate will be Steve Drazkowsi running against Democratic Party candidate Linda Pfeilsticker.

The special election is being held to fill a vacancy created by Steve Sviggum stepping down after nearly thirty years.

Governor Pawlenty assigned Sviggum to a State agency post causing his seat to become vacant.
