Message from Andy Welti for Parade Helpers

06/13/2005

Dear Friends,

It is summer and that means that I will be in the parades!  This year we will
be even more creative than in the past, and people remembered us last year!
No matter which district you live in, I wanted to invite you to be a part of the
Andy Welti parade unit.  At a typical parade, twelve to twenty-five people will
show up to walk.  We provide the shirts, all you have to provide is your
enthusiasm.

Many people have told me that they always wanted to attend the Viola Gopher
Count or the Chatfield Western Days parade - well here is your chance!

I need your help to be able to leave a lasting impression upon the constituents
of the district that I am sure will carry over to the next election.  If you
want to be a part of a great parade unit, please email me at
andy@andywelti.com.

The momentum will continue to grow and so will the fun.  Please feel welcome to ask friends to join us.  It is important that you plan to arrive at the times
listed below, because part of our strategy is to do a little creative work
before the parade begins - come find out what we mean.

The first parade is over and the next parade is this Thursday!!!!

Parade schedule is as follows:

Sun 6/12 High Forest - Was a success!

Thur 6/16 Viola Gopher Count, meet at 915 for 10 am parade.  We need 10 people

We need more for these parades!

Sun 6/19 Elgin Cheese Days, lineup at 1 for 130 parade
Mon 7/4 Stewartville Summerfest, lineup at 6 for 7 pm parade. We will have a
fundraiser at Judy Hanson and Joe Delany’s home from 2 to 6 prior to parade.
Their house is on the parade route...and they have an inground pool, a very fun day in Stewie!!

Sat 7/16 Eyota, meet at 10:15 for 11 am parade
Sat 8/13 Chatfield Western Days, meet at 12:45 for 1 pm parade
Sun 8/21, Plainview Corn on Cob Days, meet at 1230 for 130 pm parade

I cannot believe how time flies!

Thank you,
Andy
