“Midwest Heroes”

02/18/2006

There’s been quite a brouhaha lately over a series of political ads under the banner “Midwest Heroes”. Already, one station in the Twin Cities, KSTP, has refused to air them.

(See http://www.startribune.com/587/story/252903.html )

Should your local TV station make money airing these kinds of political ads that many consider misleading?

(See http://www.startribune.com/357/story/252923.html and http://www.startribune.com/357/story/240370.html )

Or do we have a standard for acceptable political speech that allows for purposeful deception?

You decide.
