Blog gives insight into the DFL and the political landscape of Minnesota

ST. PAUL (2/08/06) -The Minnesota DFL today launched DFLers.org , a blog site dedicated to creating a conversation with Minnesotans about the politics of their state.

Blogging daily from inside the DFL will be DFL Communications Director David Ruth and Deputy Communications Director Jess McIntosh. DFL staff members will also blog from debates, conventions and other “field” events.

“As we gear up for the November elections, we hope Minnesotans will find this an interesting and engaging addition to their daily blog stops,” Ruth said. “Blogs have become an important communications tool, and we look forward to joining the blogosphere and providing interesting tidbits, insightful analysis and edgy criticism directly from our offices.”

While Ruth and McIntosh will post the stories and topics, people are allowed and encouraged to post comments.  Comments will not be filtered; however, the DFL will retain the right to delete postings that are offensive.
