MN Senate OKs bill requiring youth ATV riders to wear helmets

A bill requiring helmets for minors riding all-terrain vehicles on public lands, waters and roads won preliminary approval Monday in the Minnesota Senate.

The bill would expand a current helmet law to include passengers as well as operators who are younger than 18 years old.
