More government changes are on the horizon

Just as the Bush Administration is on its last legs so too are the Administrations of Tony Blair of Britain and that of Mr. Vladimir Putin of Russia.
This Year Tony Blair will end his reign as he is escorted out the side door by his Party who can no longer afford his presence.
Mr. Putin is a different matter and has not had much press coverage because of Bush press dominance. His replacement has just been promoted and Mr.Putin is trying to spin that as a vote of confidence in him but its not. Mr. Putin is in deep trouble in Russian political circles because he has screwed up Russia’s best hope for their future -- the sale of oil and natural gas to Europe.
Readers know how this has come about as Putin used oil as a political weapon and left all of Europe incredulous and concerned about a future based upon Russian oil supply yanked away over petty political issues. Europe can’t afford that sort of dependency and then confrontation leading to energy supply cut-off.
About the only way to reassure Europe and try to get the market back is to fire Mr. Putin and put together an EU controlling authority for the Russian energy supplies.
Thus 2007 will see major realignment of key governments of the world as they are sunk by the politics of oil, war, and incompetence. The era of Napoleonic wanna-be's is ending.
Strong efforts must be made to build replacement governments that are able to rule peacefully and offer prosperity to their people.
