Needed: Parade Volunteers

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!!

The float has a busy weekend scheduled and if your available we would love to have you join us. 

Albert Lea Parade is July 3rd, 6 PM start time.  Our unit number is 35 and the parade theme is “Born Free”.  Richway Drive is the only entrance to the fairgrounds for line.  Everyone is to be in place by 5:30 PM. This is a great parade and we would love for you to join the float.

St Peter Parade is July 4th, 10:30 AM.  Huge parade and lots of friendly Democrats.  The DFL organizers haven’t shared the parade # yet, but any of you that are able to join us in St Peter can find us by checking with parade guides.

THEN--------- the float travels to STEWARTVILLE for the 4th of July Parade, 7 PM.

Line up time starts at 5:45.  UNIT # 60.  Please join us by 6:30 PM.  Take county road 6 from Highway 63.  This county road is on the corner of Podien’s and Casey’s to access the high school parking lot.  Walkers must keep up with the float because the float is asked to keep moving in order to not create any gaps in between units.

The float cover is done and hopefully will help us with set up and take down.  Always good to have help with this.  Hope you will join the DFL float.  We need to keep sending the message that Democrats are working for them. The first ever state shut down is going to make it extremely important that we are out there working for our legislatures. (Kuisle is having a Hog Roast fund raiser, July 9th.  He has announced to his supporters that he is going to try and take back his seat)
