Obama and Kerry events

Barck Obama will be in Rochester on Monday Oct 30 to speak at the Get-out-the- Vote for Amy Klobuchar and Tim Walz. The event will take place at the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium. Doors open at 4:30 pm. This will not focus on veterans’ issues but will be great to attend.

The John Kerry event will focus on Veterans’ issues. It will take place in Mankato on Wednesday Nov 1. Veterans for Walz will be either up on stage with the candidates or in front of the stage. Wear clothing that identifies you as a veteran! Meet 11:00 am at the DFL Headquarters, 630 Riverfront Drive in Mankato. There will be a bus at the headquarters that will take us to Bresnan Arena on the campus of Minnesota State University. The event will actually start at 1:00 pm but there will be no parking near the arena so meeting at the headquarters will make everything easier. The bus will take us back to headquarters after the event. Carpools are suggested and plan ahead for food since there may only be some snacks available at the Arena.
