Op-Ed, “Toward a Nuclear-Free World”

I hope you are all well and enjoying the New Year. Copied below, the text of an Op-Ed that ran in Tuesday's Wall Street Journal, entitled "Toward a Nuclear-Free World," by former Secretaries of State George Shultz and Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of Defense Bill Perry, former Senator Sam Nunn, and a bipartisan group of over 30 individuals
(of which I am one) listed at the conclusion of the piece.

This latest commentary builds on a January 2007 Op-Ed with additional detail regarding the specific steps for advancing the vision of a world free of nuclear weapons. The piece notes the support of 17 former Secretaries of State, Defense, and National Security Advisors from the Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson and Kennedy administrations.
