Government shutdown could halt U.S 52 work (Rochester Post Bulletin)

A spokeswoman for the Minnesota Department of Transportation says the agency will decide within the next few days how a government shutdown will affect major road construction, including Rochester’s $232 million U.S. 52 project. But if recent history is any guide, all 207 current and projected projects planned for the summer would likely be suspended should the current impasse between Gov.
