Parade Walkers needed for June parades

The Olmsted/Wabasha float will be going to many parades this summer
and we need walkers from throughout the 1st CD to join us and support
our candidates! We especially need walkers for the Rochesterfest
parade. If you have any questions you can contact Katherine Speer

Here is the list of parades for the rest of June.

Viola Thursday June 15: Line up is 9:00AM and the parade starts at
10:00AM. There are no assigned unit numbers for this parade but Viola
is small so you should have no problems finding the DFL float.

Zumbrota Saturday June 17: Line up is 5:00PM with the parade starting
at 6:00PM. The unit number is 70.

Elgin Sunday June 18: Line up is 12:30PM with the parade starting at
1:30 PM. We are unit #23.

Rochesterfest Friday June 23: Line up 5:15PM, parade 6:15PM. Unit
number is 35. Line up is on Civic Center Drive on the west side, just
north of the Mayo Civic Center (where the state convention was held)
and just south of the railroad tracks. Note: Children 8 or under
cannot walk in the parade, they must be in a stroller or wagon.

Grand Meadow Saturday June 24: Parade start is 2:00PM. Unit number
is not available yet.

Lake City Sunday June 25: Line up 12:30 PM, Parade 2 PM. Parade
number is 69. High School Football Field, (Garden & Iowa Streets).

This parade ends at Woodburn and 6th. This a long distance
from the start. It is helpful for volunteer walkers if there are a
couple of vehicles parked there to take people back to the starting
point to pick up vehicles left there.
