Parades


Parade season is upon us and we have two great parades this week.  We need each and everyone of you to help us out with these parades.

Viola Gopher Count parade is this Thursday, June 16, at 10 AM.  The famous Olmsted/Wabasha County DFL float will be in attendance.  Help out by joining the float and handing out our message.

Elgin Cheese Days parade is this Sunday, June 19, at 1:30.  The float will be spreading the word to SD 30 that the DFL party is well and active.  We need plenty of people to join with the float promoting the values of our great party.  Please come and bring friends.

By the way the float just had a spring clean up and it looks fabulous.  Thanks to a great group of people that work really hard this evening getting it shaped up for the parades.  A huge, huge thank you to Anne Morse, John and Ian Nickelson, from Dakota, MN (Winona Area), Cindy Swessel-Hofer, Diane Hellie, Lynn Wilson, Jackie Welti and Dale Speer.  What great troupers and fantastic workers they are.  They really worked hard and got the float organized.  I can’t express my thanks to them all enough.
