Parades Update

Here is the information regarding our parades this weekend.

Saturday, Sept 17, the float will be appearing in the Worthington Turkey Day parade.  Our unit # is 53.
Parade time 2 PM

Check-in is at 1st Ave and Clary Street on the eastern edge of town.  People joining the float are
Matt Entenza, Amy Klobuchar, Patty Wetterling, Tim Walz, Steve Kelly, Reggie Edwards, Rebecca Otto,
Mark Richie, Chris Sande.  Sure would love to have any of you to join us also.  Let me know .  We will
have to leave around 8 AM.

Sunday, Sept 18, the float will be appearing in at the LaCrescent Apple Fest parade.  Unit # is 104.
Line up: enter at the North 4th Street entrance on the northside of Kwik Trip (Construction still in progress)
Parade time 1 PM.

Parade official available starting at 11 AM to help with directions.

Everyone has been invited to an open house for Tim Walz following the parade at the home of George and
Cheryl Howe .  Located at 32628 County Road 1, 3 miles from LaCrescent, and 1 mile past the Apple Blossom
Scenic Drive.  Coming from the north the live 5 miles south of the top of Dakota Hill.  Blue Balloons will be
tied to the mailbox.  Call 507-313-3171 if you need help with directions.

Both of these parades are huge and we get the opportunity to keep the focus on our DFL message.
