Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty heads to New Hampshire this evening to campaign for Republican presidential hopeful John McCain.
A spokesman for Pawlenty's campaign says the governor will introduce McCain at town hall meetings in New Hampshire this weekend, then return to Minnesota on Sunday night.
Recent poll numbers show McCain surging in New Hampshire, which holds its primary on January Eighth.
Pawlenty is the co-chair of McCain's presidential committee. He has campaigned on the Arizona senator's behalf in Iowa, Michigan and New Hampshire.
