PBS FRONTLINE: Bush’s War

PBS's program FRONTLINE has been carefully chronicling the Iraq War and has run a special two part series, each 2 hours long for a total of four hours of detailed reporting of the war and its history.

The insights gained from viewing this series is incredible and shows the criminality of a war staged for empire building and greed and that has cost the lives of (conservatively) more that 80,000 Iraqi's, has pushed millions of Iraqi's into refugee camps living in nations hostile to them where they now live in abject poverty and squalor. More than 4000 American troops are now dead and the death count is climbing. Near 40,000 Americans are wounded and maimed for life. 160,000 troops are in forced lengthening periods of combat deployment as millions of military families are disintegrating, devorcing, and facing loved ones coming home scathed in awful ways from their life experiences in combat.

Perhaps at one time we could have brushed this off by saying Bush was stupid and inept but that it has continued unabated for six years now makes him a criminal and I have come to view the FRONTLINE series as the legal brief that in time will be used to try him and the principals within his Administration as war criminals in the court of human rights. I expect that Bush would be hung as a result of what you can see from viewing this series.

The series can be viewed online and if your computer is not set up to view videos this is a good time to put a push on to view the videos. The link to view these is found at:

I hope that you can set aside some quiet time to view this series and to draw your own lessons from it.

We will put a link to it in the video pull down tab of The Rochester Democrat so that you can watch it piecemeal if need be. It is broken down into viewable chapters allowing viewers to watch the material one chapter at a time. Each chapter is about 15 minutes long.
