The Southeast Minnesota Alliance of Peacemakers invite you to attend
their upcoming events:
Saturday March 18

Peace Plaza in Downtown Rochester to Calvary Episcopal Church
Free and open to the public
March 18, UNITED FOR PEACE AS A GLOBAL FAMILY will mark the third
anniversary of the Iraq War with a call to unite our rainbow of
diversity. Gather with us at 1:30PM in the Peace Plaza in downtown
Rochester for an opening ceremony. Bring flags of our nations with you
to carry as we process to Calvary Episcopal Church where we will
congregate to share our theme of peace through storytelling, music,
dance, reflection, and refreshments. This will be a good family
experience, so bring your children and grandchildren.

March 24, SAMI RASOULI, owner of Sinbad’s restaurant in Minneapolis and
MN resident for almost 30 years when he came from Iraq to seek medical treatment for his son,
returned to his native country last year to help with reconstruction and
with spreading peace. Hear his first-hand account of life now in Iraq
and the consequences of war.
