Camp Wellstone's 2007 training schedule opens in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Register today for Camp Wellstone in Madison on January 26 - 28 and Camp Wellstone in St. Paul on February 2 - 4.


Camp Wellstone is a training program that teaches grassroots organizing, electoral organizing, progressive public policy and ethical leadership. Don't miss this opportunity to learn the skills of electing progressive candidates and winning on issues! Many successful candidates, campaign managers and activists confirm how important this training has been to their work.


The 2.5 day training is highly interactive, combining exercises, lectures, and simulations. Camp runs Friday from 2:30pm-9:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am-6:00pm, and Sunday from 9:00am-3:00pm. We keep you busy the whole time!


Camp Wellstone is divided into three tracks:


Candidate track - for people who have made the decision to run for office or who are seriously considering it.
Campaign track - for people interested in learning how to run successful electoral campaigns
Citizen activist track - for people interested in learning how to win on issues and build community power.


The cost of registration is $100. Students, low-income, or unemployed participants pay just $50. Your fees pay for three meals, materials, space rental and the cost of trainers - a real deal! We are not able to guarantee your space for the camp unless payment is received 2 weeks prior to the starting date. Camp participants are responsible for their own accommodations.
