Pledge Your Support for “8 in ‘08”
10/12/2007
Eight things you can do to bring victory in 2008Dear DFLers,
The 2008 elections are almost here, and the DFL Party is ready ready to change America with 8 in '08 and with you.
We have 8 different ways for you to become involved to bring change to your neighborhood and our country in '08. Whether it's attending precinct caucuses, becoming a Neighborhood Leader, giving $50 to the DFL that the State will refund, or voting next November, take the pledge! You can pledge to do one or as many as you like. (We know everyone will pledge to vote!)
Whether you're an active DFLer, a Democratic voter or just someone who's fed up with George W. Bush, Norm Coleman and Tim Pawlenty, the DFL 8 in '08 is for you.
If you know Minnesota and America can move forward and do better, the DFL 8 in '08 is for you.
And if you're ready to do something anything about it, the DFL 8 in '08 is for you.
Click here to learn more and take the 8 in '08 pledge because when we each do our part, no matter what it is, together we will change America.
On Deck: Two Fun and Free 8 in '08 Events
Saturday, November 3: "One Year Out" House Parties
Saturday, November 3 marks one year and one day before Election Day 2008. To celebrate 12 months before we send the Republicans packing, the DFL Party and the national Democratic Party will jointly be hosting "One Year Out" House Parties throughout Minnesota and America to unveil the Neighborhood Leader program that is the heart of the DFL 8 in '08.
These parties are for everyone from DFL activists to people who want to get involved for the first time to learn about the Neighborhood Leader program. This grassroots effort will get folks talking directly to our neighbors about our Democratic values, vision and candidates in '08.
You can set up a "One Year Out" party or just attend one near you anytime on November 3. Dozens of parties have already been set up across Minnesota, with more going live every day. And the parties will feature a conference call with Democratic National Committee Chair Governor Howard Dean, so click here to join in the fun!
